We were actually pretty lucky. Got a seat near the window despite the whole restaurant practically being reserved by families in hopes of tasting Chop Chop Chop. I remember the first time going to that restaurant, was with some of the guys from my secondary school. Managed to eat only two chops.
So anyway, while waiting for the food, got some time to talk to my mum. It was good to ya know, just randomly talk about anything, be it about my Indian lecturer, my family, her work, all that stuff.
I'm glad tonight was how the way it was.
Despite waiting a long ass time, it just reminded me to treasure the moments like the 2 hours my mum and I just went on and on about everything.
I kinda like to think that the meal that I paid for wasn't the real present that I gave my mum today.
It was more so making my mum laugh and smile tonight that was the present. :)
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL.
